Hans Van Veluwen
Born in Holland, parents emigrated to Australia in the mid
1950's. Naturalist / Wilderness Guide since 1979. A
qualified Horticulturist who found out years ago that it
was a lot easier talking about plants for a living then
physically growing them. I use my botanical knowledge
combined with a sound knowledge of the geography,
history and fauna of Far North Queensland to conduct
nature appreciation tours. A keen photographer and
dedicated environmentalist I see my mission in life is to
be an ambassador for our unique Wilderness
environments.
I operated a company called Take a Walk on the Wild Side
during the 1980's when I conducted Expeditions, Trekking
and Low Impact Camping tours in the Outback and
Rainforest environments of the Far North Queensland
regions.

A New Zealand born Nurse from Dutch
background and now a permanent resident of

Registered Nurse at an aged care facility in Port
Douglas.

Diana Orvan
As a partnership we work well together and have spent many days on field trips sleeping
under the Northern Stars, enjoying campfire cook ups and recording the sights of Far North
Queensland in Stereophotographic Digital Images.
Together we run C3D Stereophotography and produce high resolution 3D and 2D Digital
images that we archive and use to produce quality books, posters and two fold postcards.
